What To Expect
Going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of an uncertain experience. To help avoid any worries, here's a quick summary of what you can expect at Venture Community Church.
When are the Sunday service times?
Venture Community Church meets for one worship experience on Sunday morning at 11am. This service features excellent programs for children, inspiring music and practical teaching.
When do I arrive?
If you are bringing children we recommend you arrive approx. 20 minutes before service begins for check-in. Once you are here you'll be able to enjoy a cup of coffee, a bottle of water or other refreshments before service.
How do I get to Venture Community Church?
Venture Community Church is located at 701 Oak Street Graham, TX. We're right across the street from Morrison Funeral Home on the corner of 2nd Street & Oak Street.
What can I expect on my first visit?
We will make every effort to make you feel at home. Our greeters are available to give directions or answer any questions you may have.
If you have children, you'll want to take advantage of our safe and secure children's ministry designed just for them, we will need a moment of your time to explain our Sunday morning processes and get your children registered for safe drop off and pick up.
You'll also have the opportunity to complete a connect card and receive a small gift in the mail from us!
Our ushers can assist you in finding a seat, so you can enjoy the service.
What about my kids?
VentureTots is our pre-school ministry for ages Birth-5 Years Old. Our VentureTots team and room is available starting at 10:30am Sunday morning.
VentureKids King-Fu is our Sunday morning discipleship program for children 5 years old-5th grade. We ask that you check in your kids prior to service and our VentureKids will be released from our main worship service to their class.
Rest assured, your children are cared for in a clean, spacious, safe, fun and loving environment by our trained volunteers and team leaders.
What do I wear?
This is easy. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are casual no-hassle church and accept people just as they are. Whether you come in a business suit or shorts and flip-flops is fine with us.
What do you have for teenagers?
We have a lot for teenagers! On Wednesday nights from 6:45pm-8pm our ministry for students ages 6th-12th grade meet in the Avenue Lounge. This space is just for them. Students experience high-energy games, food and refreshments, an engaging worship experience and a relevant message.
At Avenue Student Ministry we believe that God is doing a new thing and that all students, no matter what, can belong.
Is there anything for adults besides Sunday mornings?
We believe that lives are changed in both rows on Sunday mornings and in circles throughout the week. We have several opportunities for adults to meet together in VCC Communities during the week/month.
At every community group there will be opportunity for conversation, prayer and study. For more information you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I get involved?
Becoming involved is really pretty simple. We've boiled it down to just a few steps:
1. Attend VCC.
2. Complete a Connect Card.
3. One of our team members will contact you.
